Pure Storage unveils an upgraded reseller partner programme

Pure Storage has revealed an updated Reseller Partner Program aimed at enhancing the profitability potential for its partners.

The revamped program provides partners with the necessary tools to meet customers' most urgent data storage needs, with a focus on replacing outdated disk-based storage with Pure Storage's all-flash offerings. This update aligns with the increasing shift towards flash technology in the IT industry, driven by the adoption of consumption-based models and AI advancements.

The updated Reseller Partner Program includes new solution-oriented training that allows partners to adapt to the changing market demands and empower both individuals and organisations. The training comprises of on-demand courses and in-person technical boot camps, equipping partners to serve as trusted advisors while building deeper customer relationships. The program also introduces fresh incentives and rebates to stimulate customer transition to the Pure Storage Platform.

Pure Storage is focusing on key areas such as hybrid cloud optimisation, AI-ready infrastructure, modern applications, and cyber resilience. These focus areas empower partners to help customers optimise cloud mobility, unify their data for AI applications, manage modern applications across different environments, and offer tiered cyber resiliency solutions to protect against cyberattacks.

Partners will benefit from enhanced earning opportunities through enriched rewards and rebates. This move acknowledges the role partners play in delivering transformation solutions to customers and is designed to elevate their market impact.

Several partner-facing tools have been introduced to offer further support. "Pure Partner Intelligence" gives partners real-time insights to identify growth opportunities, while "Pure Realize" provides use-case proposals and solution expertise to differentiate partners as solution providers. Additionally, a new "Digital Partner Master Services Agreement (DPMSA)" process enables an efficient, automated customer experience through the Pure1 platform, covering quote requests, purchase orders, and installations.

Operational improvements are also part of the update, including a redesigned partner portal and new CPQ tooling to facilitate guided selling, with additional enhancements expected later in the fiscal year to boost sales velocity and partner independence.
