PPDS reveals new Philips Interactive 3000 Series displays

Today

PPDS has launched the Philips Interactive 3000 Series, a range of multi-touch displays designed for continuous 24/7 use across diverse environments.

The new line serves as the latest evolution in the Philips T-Line Kiosk display range, incorporating updated hardware and software advancements, including PCAP touch technology. This development is set to cater to installations in markets such as retail, transportation, and food and beverage.

Andrea Barbuti, Global Product Management Lead for EMEA at PPDS, stated, "With the Philips T-Line Series, we raised the bar for how and where interactive displays can be used to bring new business benefits and enhanced user experiences. And now, with this new Philips Interactive 3000 Series, we're significantly raising that bar again, adding unprecedented versatility and opportunities to an even wider audience."

The range is available in sizes 24", 32", 43", and 55", designed for performance and reliability. The new models accommodate the growing demand for tilted displays suitable for kiosks, offering a 30-degree tilt option and optional open-frame brackets, contributing to new installation possibilities.

The Philips Interactive 3000 Series includes a 'Kiosk Mode' for security, which restricts unauthorised remote control and management to prevent tampering.

Each model features an edge-to-edge PCAP touchscreen with anti-glare and anti-fingerprint coating to ensure clarity, even in challenging lighting conditions and frequent use. The displays deliver varying brightness levels, with smaller models offering up to 350 cd/m2 and larger models up to 450 cd/m2 for enhanced visibility.

Equipped with an Android 13 SoC, these displays provide a plug-and-play experience, negating the need for an external media player, as content can be uploaded directly. The models include 4GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM.

PPDS has included FailOver technology in the Philips Interactive 3000 Series to ensure continuous content display even during system errors or power outages.

Through Philips Wave, users can engage in extensive remote monitoring and display management. The platform facilitates settings adjustments, content scheduling, and predictive maintenance from a central location.

The ProStore feature within Philips Wave offers access to various applications and services, ensuring compatibility across the range.

The Philips Interactive 3000 Series is also made with sustainability in mind. It features reduced power consumption compared to previous models and automatic backlight control to optimise energy use without sacrificing performance.

The displays are available globally, and PPDS plans to provide additional demonstrations at its showrooms across various regions.
