Qirx has taken top honours at Nutanix' Channel Partner Awards, with the Canberra reseller winning Channel Partner of the Year, and being elevated to elite partner status.

The awards were presented at the hyperconverged infrastructure vendor's flagship event, .Next on Tour, in Melbourne last week.

The awards also saw Dimension Data win the Nutanix Partner Most Strategic Initiative award, with Dell EMC taking out OEM Partner of the Year.

Four individual awards were also presented, with Damien Harrison from MOQdigital named Nutanix Partner Technical MVP; BEarena's James Longley taking out Partner Sales MVP; Jason Greenaway of Dell EMC winning Partner OEM Technical MVP and Daniel Morris from Lenovo scooping up the Nutanix Partner OEM Sales MVP.

Meanwhile the conference itself attracted a full house of resellers to hear from industry ‘visionairies', product experts and end users about what's making waves in IT.

Along with keynotes and panel discussions, the event featured interactive breakout sessions designed to ‘prep Australian and New Zealand technology leaders to be part of the next evolution of the cloud', Nutanix says.
