27 Oct 2016

The Gartner Symposium/ITxpo has been marketed as the world's most important gathering of CIOs and senior IT executives, and the Gold Coast event certainly didn't disappoint.

Throughout this week we've been provided with actionable advice to drive digital to the core of products, processes and talents. We've been told to prepare for a number of disruptive trends that could make or break businesses (depending on how you react) and help deliver long-term benefits.

There have been insightful keynotes from influential individuals, research presentations, one-on-one sessions with analysts, real-life experiences from CIOs, a giant hall for exhibitors and constant social functions to promote networking like beach volleyball, food festivals and yoga.

The event has run without a hitch, with Gartner's goal of helping participants to see beyond the edge and learn how to make digital a core competence for their organisations a great success. Check out some of the photos below.
