Oracle to create 200 new jobs in new Sydney digital sales hub
Wed, 23rd Nov 2016
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Oracle will be building a new digital hub in Sydney that will create 200 new digital sales jobs in the company. The new hub will assist midsize organisations transition to the cloud. “Cloud is changing the heart of business in Australia, and at an unprecedented pace," comments Oracle Australia and New Zealand managing director Rob Willis.

The Oracle Digital sales staff will give customers access to the latest tools, techniques and technologies that Oracle says will 'transform' the buying experience.

"We are seeing companies selecting and starting to use their new platforms in less than six weeks in some cases. Marketing can optimise their campaigns on the fly. Finance can get figures in hours when it used to take days or even weeks. HR can accurately analyse future workforce trends, and take pre-emptive steps to keep top talent engaged and productive," Willis continues.

The hub will feature "Smart Walls" for real-time demos to customers worldwide, without leaving their office, "Social Listening Hubs" for advanced tools to monitor industry and customer trends, and one-click contracts.

Oracle states that their sales staff will be ready for rapid response to customer requests and market changes.

"Success breeds success, so as one part of the business dips their toe in the water and gains the benefit, so the roll out moves on to other areas,” Willis concludes.
