New Relic named a Leader in Gartner 2024 Magic Quadrant

New Relic has been recognised as a Leader in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM), marking a significant achievement for the observability platform.

The Gartner Magic Quadrant evaluates DEM vendors based on various metrics including product capabilities, market understanding, and strategy. New Relic has secured a position in the Leaders quadrant and is noted for being the "furthest in vision" among other vendors.

New Relic's DEM solution is described as an integrated system that provides real-time digital experience insights. It includes features such as real user monitoring, application performance management, error tracking, and AI monitoring, which allow businesses to have a complete view of customer experiences and optimise their systems accordingly.

Among recent innovations, New Relic has enhanced features such as Session Replay, which records nearly every incident automatically, and mobile log management, which supports a wide range of platforms including iOS, Android, and others. The mobile user journeys feature offers dynamic, nonlinear visualisations that help in improving mobile user experiences.

New Relic has also been well-reviewed by customers on the Gartner Peer Insights platform. As of mid-October 2024, it received an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars from 1,385 verified reviews. A notable 90% of these reviewers gave New Relic a 5-star rating for its observability capabilities.

Customer testimonials highlight various benefits of using New Relic. A DevOps Lead in the healthcare and biotech sector stated, "New Relic has been there for us through the ins and outs of sunsetting Zabbix and the noise it has brought, and replacing it with a holistic, data driven observability and incident management policy.
