Microsoft and enterprise software provider TechnologyOne have joined forces with Microsoft Office 365 being integrated into TechnologyOne's enterprise content management offering.

The companies say the integration will provide ‘simple, automated capture of emails from Microsoft Outlook into ECM, tagging the email in Outlook without requiring any additional software installs.

Adrian Di Marco says the move is a big step in a joint commitment to integrating Office 365 with TechnologyOne's enterprise software and highlights the importance of research and development organsations working together to deliver a cloud first, mobile first world.

The partnership was announced at Microsoft's 2015 Connect Conference in New York, where Microsoft also unveiled its new Microsoft Graph API, a unified API endpoint, for accessing data, intelligence and insights coming from the Microsoft cloud.

Microsoft also launched a website showcasing its nine new Microsoft Graph API partners, of with TechnologyOne the only enterprise software provider included in the list of cloud-based vendors.
