LG modernises Sydney Dance Company with innovative tech upgrades
LG Business Solutions (LG), recognised globally for commercial information display technologies, has unveiled its most recent project undertaken in partnership with Sydney Dance Company. The project is aimed at integrating advanced technology into the historic Walsh Bay Wharf Studios to enrich visitor experiences.
This initiative builds upon a two-year association between LG Electronics and Sydney Dance Company, resulting in a renovation that brings forth innovative digital display solutions spanning four dance studios, a theatre and foyer space, a gym and conditioning studio, cafe, and outdoor areas. In addition, the spaces are equipped with refreshed sound systems, flooring, and acoustic treatment.
The studios, housed in a cargo wharf dating back to the early 20th century, now feature the sleek and minimalist design of LG display solutions. These additions blend seamlessly with the existing architecture, maintaining the historical charm of the building while adding an element of contemporary utility and sophistication to various spaces.
Adding to the unique appeal of each space within the building are High Brightness Signage and Outdoor Displays. Known for their vibrant colour expression and outstanding readability, these displays serve as dynamic points of engagement for passersby and visitors. Their slim, robust design also ensures a seamless blend with the studio's architecture.

These state-of-the-art screens enable our team to promote our performances, dance classes, and display other key messages, and we can easily and regularly update them."
In addition to this, the café within the building now features Digital Menu displays with precise and accurate content delivery, enhancing the service offering. Furthermore, several units of LG One:Quick Flex have been installed across the dance studios to streamline virtual communication, thereby improving efficiency in coordinating performances and events.
