Kinetic IT becomes first in Australia with SIAM Assured status
Kinetic IT has become the first company in Australia to achieve the Scopism SIAM Assured Service Partner accreditation.
This development marks Kinetic IT as only the second organisation globally to receive this recognition, indicating a high level of expertise, capability and maturity in Service Integration and Management (SIAM).
The SIAM Assured accreditation is awarded by Scopism, a globally recognised authority in SIAM. The recognition is reserved for organisations that have demonstrated advanced ability to deliver value within complex, multi-provider environments.
Kinetic IT was granted the accreditation after a comprehensive, evidence-based assessment process. This process aligns with the SIAM Bodies of Knowledge (BoK), a foundational framework in service integration that has been shaped in part by Kinetic IT's own experts over several years.
According to Kinetic IT, the company's involvement stretches back to the initial formation and ongoing updates to the BoK, including participation in the upcoming 2025 refresh. The company has also been active in broader industry initiatives, including global surveys, knowledge-sharing efforts, and mentoring other organisations embarking on SIAM approaches.
Industry endorsement
"This is about shared success," said Michael North, CEO of Kinetic IT. "Service integration is not just a back-office function – it's a strategic enabler that unlocks value across the enterprise. Our SIAM Assured accreditation gives our customers and partners confidence that they're working with an integrator who brings structure, insight, and dependable execution."
Claire Agutter, founder of Scopism, emphasised the rigorous nature of the assessment for the SIAM Assured status.
"Passing the assessment requires a deep understanding of service integration principles, a commitment to best practice, and real-world results delivered to multiple clients. Kinetic IT's SSA accreditation reflects not only their dedication to high-quality outcomes, but also their maturity as a SIAM provider.
"This gives customers independent assurance that Kinetic IT can deliver SIAM effectively in complex, multi-vendor environments."
Michelle Major-Goldsmith, Service Line Manager - Service Integration & Systems at Kinetic IT, described the milestone as a testament to the organisation's ongoing commitment to its staff, clients, and methodologies.
"This is more than a badge - it's an endorsement of our people, our practices, and our promise to deliver customer value through intelligent, integrated services."
Kinetic IT's SIAM involvement
Kinetic IT is a founding member of Scopism's SIAM Architect Team and has made significant contributions to every major update of the SIAM BoK. In addition to contributing frameworks, the company supports the advancement of SIAM knowledge through industry thought leadership and direct collaboration with global peers.
Kinetic IT's approach to SIAM includes not only the management of technical and service providers, but also training and mentoring within the wider IT service management sector in Australia and internationally.
Participation in the assessment required demonstrating capability and delivering success in challenging, multi-supplier service environments. The awarding of the SIAM Assured Partner accreditation recognises the effectiveness and consistency of Kinetic IT's approaches in real-world scenarios.
This development positions Kinetic IT as the benchmark for SIAM in the Australian market, providing assurance to clients who are engaging with increasingly complex technology and vendor landscapes. The SIAM Assured accreditation may now serve as a point of reference for organisations considering enhancements to their own service integration capabilities.
