Kaspersky Lab woos partners at Sydney event, announces new hires
Kaspersky Lab ANZ reached out to channel partners an an event held in Wild Life Sydney Zoo, which then moved on to a light-hearted outing at Madame Tussauds yesterday.
The event started with a focus on Kaspersky's business strategies, including objective and future plans. The event then focused on discovering how channel partners can work with Kaspersky to create new opportunities for their businesses through presentations and a question and answer session.
Kaspersky Lab ANZ has also announced that Peter Brady will be taking the helm as general manager, a large step up from his previous role as retail channel sales manager.
In addition, Rebecca Nguyen was recently appointed enterprise sales manager for the ANZ region, from her previous role as territory manager for the southern region. Chih-En Yeh has taken over the territory manager role.
Other notable hires include Noushin Shabab, the first global research - analysis team (GReAT) member. As a senior security researcher, she will report to Vitaly Kamluk, based out of Singapore.
Celebrating diversity, new hires also include Marketing Manager, Dania Jubain; Retail Manager, Scott Kirkwood; Territory Channel Manager for North Australia, Samantha Gotting and Graeme McDonald for New Zealand. Only her third week at Kaspersky, Noushin Shabab is ANZ's first Global Research - Analysis Team (GReAT) member.
