JobAdder unveils AI-driven recruitment plans to ease workloads

Yesterday

JobAdder has announced a significant investment in artificial intelligence to address rising pressures in the recruitment sector as agencies contend with surging candidate applications and increased workload.

According to the company's 2025 State of Recruitment report, the number of candidate applications received by recruiters has grown by 42% year-on-year, resulting in the average agency handling more than 2,100 CVs each quarter.

The report highlights a trend of increased stress and overwhelm among recruitment professionals, with many agencies finding existing technology insufficient for managing the administrative demands of hiring.

In response, JobAdder is introducing new AI-powered recruitment plans designed for agencies of all sizes, from startups to global operations. These plans are intended to streamline recruiters' workflows, reduce manual tasks, and allow more time to be spent on relationship-building with candidates and clients.

The new offering features three distinct Recruiter Plans, each created to support the needs of recruiters at different stages and scales. These plans form part of a broader technology pipeline that will deliver more than ten new AI tools over the coming year.

JobAdder states that development of these tools is handled by a dedicated in-house team, with each new feature being built based on direct feedback from recruiters to ensure they address real-world pain points.

Among the initial set of tools to be made available are enhancements to talent management. These include CRM cleanup features, intelligent candidate matching, AI-generated summaries, and automated rejection and compliance emails. The improvements are designed to help recruiters better leverage their existing candidate databases, potentially reducing cost to hire and accelerating time to place by 30% on average.

Other tools soon to be launched focus on client engagement. This includes Client Check-In automation and Opportunity outreach tools for delivering more timely and tailored follow-ups with clients.

The company is also rolling out global enablement features such as localised lead feeds, saved search folders, and dashboards to provide ANZ-specific benchmarks. In-product guidance through JobAdder's AI assistant, JAA, is also included to give data-driven support in each region.

JobAdder Chief Executive Officer Martin Herbst said that the company's approach sets it apart from the trend of layering generic AI onto existing platforms by focusing on the specific needs of recruiters.

Herbst stated: "Recruitment is, and always will be, about people. The problem isn't a lack of tech, it's that most of it gets in the way. We're taking a stand with usability as our core differentiator. Our AI and automation are built to be invisible in the best way- powerful, but effortless. Combine that with our new Recruiter Plans, and we're giving recruiters what they've been asking for: technology that actually works with them, not against them."

The investment comes after four years of growth for JobAdder, which has doubled its user numbers worldwide. The company's new AI suite is now available to customers globally, with further additions to the platform planned in the coming months.
