FYI, this story is more than a year old

Anyware Corporation has signed a distribution deal which see it bringing the Iris range of computer accessories to Australia.

IRIS is a member of the Canon Group and specialises in intelligent document recognition and mobile scanning peripherals.

Garrison Huang, Anyware managing director, says the distributor is excited to be able to offer the new technology, and expects the Iris range of products to appeal strongly to its B2B customer base.

Bernard de Fabribeckers, Iris worldwide sales director, says the signing of the nationwide distribution deal comes on the back of growing interest in Iris products in Australia.

“We have decided to enlarge our presence in this fast-moving market,” Fabribeckers says.

“Selecting the right distributor was a critical aspect of this decision. With Anyware Corporation as our national distributor, we have found experienced and ambitious partners that will help us attract technically sophisticated private and professional users and thus successfully pursue our growth strategy.

The deal, which is effective immediately, will see Anyware distribution Iris products and solutions for both Windows and Mac platforms, including a range of mobile scanners with OCR software.
