Ingram Micro wins big as Jabra celebrates ANZ partner successes
Wed, 4th May 2016
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Ingram Micro Australia has taken top honours as Jabra's ANZ 2015 Distributor of the Year, with SimplyHeadsets, IComm Australia and New Zealand's Cackle Telecommunications also scooping up awards at the vendor's APAC Partner Conference in Phuket.

SimplyHeadsets.com.au was announced as APAC Partner of the Year for the audio device vendor, as well as taking out the 2015 Overall Partner of the Year for Australia.

SimplyHeadsets was recognised for its level of growth in recent years, particularly last year when the company tripled its business with Jabra thanks to a number of ‘significantly big wins', making them Jabra's biggest value-added reseller in Australia.

IComm was named Jabra's 2015 UC Partner of the Year, with IComm managing director Rob Dell noting that UC has been Jabra's biggest growth market for the last few years, especially with the mass deployment of Microsoft Skype for Business.

Dell says IComm avoided losing a single Jabra bid in 2015, and closed new deals with organisations including Jemena, the Greater City of Geelong and Greater City of Dandenong.

Cackle Telecommunications – Jabra's longest serving value-added partner in New Zealand – claimed the top Kiwi award as 2015 New Zealand Partner of the Year.

David Piggott, Jabra ANZ managing director, says rapid technological advancements are disrupting the traditional rules of business and transforming the concept of work, creating a knock-on effect on customer needs.

“Our partners are a critical extension of our team as they work closely with customers to drive value, create new revenue streams and eventually steeer their businesses to even greater heights,” Piggott says.

He says the company has achieved ‘substantial growth' in the ANZ region over the past year.

“Recognising these successes over the last 12 months is important as it highlights the value we place on our channel relationships.
