FYI, this story is more than a year old

Antivirus and mobile security vendor BullGuard has inked a deal with Sydney-based distributor and PC manufacturer Impact Systems.

The deal will see Impact Systems distributing a range of BullGuard products, including antivirus, internet security and mobile security.

Peter Agamalis, Impact Systems senior channel manager, says BullGuard has ‘an extremely marketable and award winning portfolio'.

“We plan to give our competitors a run for their money and to give the channel a chance to discover the true meaning of vendor support, and with BullGuard on side, we're confident we can push forward with great success.

Impact Systems says the venture will provide ‘a very clear USP', offering ‘a complete level of support to the channel with a number of resources designed to maximise potential in this area'.

Those resources include a complete marketing program with a starter kit including posters, brochures and other promotional materials; a full range of product-populated counter stand and floor displays; and generous yearly payments from renewals and a competitive pricing model.

The companies have also committed to reviewing and maintaining the resource base to maximise future opportunities.

Impact Systems says BullGuard's Advantage Scheme provides resellers with a 25% revenue share for the life of renewals, alongside dedicated 24/7 support and a number of tools to help support partners and maximise their sales and renewal potential.

Steve Hicks, BullGuard head of global sales, says the partnership will help expand Bullguard's reach and increase accessibility of its products to consumers.

“We're very much looking forward to working with Impact to increase its influence in the ANZ region, and to expand further over the coming months,” Hicks says.
