FYI, this story is more than a year old

HPE has released GreenLake Flex Capacity for partners, a new offering that helps partners sell HPE's on-premises consumption solution.

The company has also introduced enhancements to its HPE Partner Ready Digital Marketing Program.

“At HPE, we are laser-focused on bringing the best innovation to our partners so they can capitalise on market disruptions and grow profitably,” says HPE worldwide partner sales head Paul Hunter.

“Through our leading product portfolio and specially designed channel programs, we will help partners succeed in today's fast-paced technology environment.

According to IDC, by 2020, consumption-based procurement will account for as much as 40% of enterprises' IT infrastructure spending.

Customers increasingly want to the pay for the infrastructure they consume each month - allowing flexibility to scale up or down as required while avoiding capital expenses.

HPE is introducing a new offering so channel partners can help customers adopt a pay-per-use model and access new on-premises technologies - such as software-defined infrastructure, all-flash storage and private cloud - without a significant upfront investment.

GreenLake Flex Capacity for partners enables system integrators, resellers and distributors to deliver HPE's differentiated, industry-leading GreenLake Flex Capacity directly to customers.

Given customers' increasing reliance on digital resources to make buying decisions, it is imperative for channel partners to differentiate themselves through their marketing and continually advance their digital marketing capabilities.

Customers seek information online along their buying journey and partners must deliver the digital tools and content to address their needs.

Through the new Partner Ready Marketing Pro Academy, HPE is introducing educational resources to help partners improve digital marketing proficiency and drive more effective digital activities.

In addition, expansion of face-to-face Digital Marketing Workshops around the world will enable HPE to further engage and educate partners across many major metro areas.
