HP unveils Christmas deals on laptops, monitors & printers
HP has unveiled a series of technology offers on a range of products for the holiday shopping season, as demand remains strong for consumer electronics ahead of Christmas. The deals cover laptops, monitors and printers designed to appeal to students, remote workers and families.
Key laptops
The HP OmniBook X Flip 16 is targeted at students and users who require strong multitasking features. It includes an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB solid state drive. The model features a 16-inch 3K OLED display and supports Wi-Fi 7. HP has priced the OmniBook X Flip 16 at AUD $3,499.
For those seeking more entry-level options, HP is promoting the Laptop 15 series in two processor configurations. The version equipped with an Intel Ultra 7 chip, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD is reduced to AUD $899, down from AUD $1,299. The Intel Ultra 5 version with identical memory and storage is now AUD $799, previously AUD $1,099. HP reports discount rates of 30% and 27% on these models respectively.
Monitor offer
The OMEN 165Hz QHD 27-inch Monitor is part of HP's gaming device portfolio. The model comes with a 2560 x 1440 IPS display, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms response time. It also incorporates AMD FreeSync Premium technology, 99% sRGB colour space coverage and a blue light reducing filter. HP is positioning the monitor as a choice for consumers seeking a smoother gaming experience during the Christmas period.
Printer focus
The HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e printer is being highlighted for remote or hybrid workers. The unit promises colour print speeds of up to 10 pages per minute and black-and-white speeds of up to 20 pages per minute. Other features include automatic duplex printing, a document feeder, and both wireless and Ethernet connectivity options.
Convertible options
For customers interested in convertible devices, HP is promoting the Envy x360. The laptop-tablet hybrid can be configured with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 16GB memory, and 512GB SSD. The Ultra 7 version is now available for AUD $1,199, down from AUD $2,199, while the Ultra 5 version has been reduced to AUD $999 from AUD $1,999. These discounts are among the largest HP is offering during the current period.
