27 Nov 17

HP honoured several of its partners at an awards ceremony in Sydney last week, with Ingram Micro, Synnex and Dicker Data all receiving nods in various categories.

Ethan Group took home the biggest award of the night, being recognised as HP partner of the year for 2017, while their SMB Partner of the Year award went to Computer Alliance.

Meanwhile, Ingram Micro picked up HP print distributor of the year,  Synnex was recognised as the company’s PC distributor of the year and Karen Pyke from Dicker Data won HP distribution sales rep of the year for 2017

Rob Mesaros, HP South Pacific managing director says the awards recognised partners who have helped HP achieve a ‘banner year’, facilitating much of the company’s growth over the course of 2017.

“The reinvention of HP over the last two years has seen us go from strength to strength, whether you look at our global financial earnings or our local market share results. Our company and our brand have never been better,” Mesaros says.

“We couldn’t have done any of this without our channel partners, and this year we celebrate 50 years of partnership in Australia and New Zealand. An incredible milestone by any standards.

“We’ve been in each other’s corners for decades, and I’m thrilled to be here tonight to recognise all our partners and the hard work they put in every day, striving for our combined success. Together, we will continue to grow the business into 2018 and far beyond,” he concluded.
