Gallagher reshapes Australian team for key security growth

Fri, 16th Jan 2026

Gallagher Security has made several appointments in Australia, including a new national key accounts leadership role and hires focused on high security, federal work, and business development in Victoria and Tasmania.

Craig Schutte, Executive Vice President for APAC and IMEA, said the changes formed part of how the company plans its Australian coverage for the year ahead.

"We're positioning Gallagher to deliver even greater value to our customers and partners in 2026," said Craig Schutte, Executive Vice President for APAC and IMEA, Gallagher Security.

Key Accounts

Gallagher has promoted Jake Kearns to National Key Accounts Leader. The company said it created the role as part of its national approach to key accounts.

Kearns reports to Scott Johnstone, National Sales Manager. Gallagher said Kearns will work with state-based teams across Australia.

Schutte also described a change in how Gallagher structures parts of its portfolio around key accounts. "As high-security and perimeter solutions increasingly converge, Gallagher has integrated these offerings under a unified strategy," said Schutte.

The company said the National Key Accounts Leader role covers management and expansion of the High Security, Perimeter, and SMB portfolios in Australia.

Gallagher also moved its high security function into the key account management group. "Under Jake's leadership, the High Security function will now sit within the Key Account Management team, ensuring these specialised solutions are deeply embedded in our strategic account approach," said Schutte.

High Security

Gallagher has appointed Andrew Myssonski as High Security & Federal Manager. The company said the role sits within the broader push to expand its national approach to high security and federal opportunities.

Gallagher said Myssonski will lead the national High Security & Federal portfolio and work with regional leaders and partners across Australia. "Andrew will lead the national High Security & Federal portfolio, working with regional leaders and our partners to expand capability and execution across Australia," said Schutte.

Schutte also linked the appointment to Myssonski's background in the sector. "Andrew brings extensive expertise in physical security and enterprise technology, and his strong regional insight and commitment to technical excellence will play a key role in supporting Gallagher's partners and customers nationwide," said Schutte.

Victoria, Tasmania

In Victoria and Tasmania, Gallagher has appointed Rak Senaratna as Senior Business Development Manager. He reports to Neil Jarvis in the Victoria and Tasmania region, according to the company.

Schutte said Senaratna joined with long experience in electronic security roles across service, installation, project management, and sales. "We are also proud to welcome Rak Senaratna to the Gallagher team as Senior Business Development Manager, reporting to Neil Jarvis in our Victoria/Tasmania region," said Schutte.

Gallagher said Senaratna has worked with Gallagher technology previously and has experience in large projects that included integrations. "With a long-standing connection to Gallagher technology, Rak has successfully delivered many large-scale projects featuring complex integrations, demonstrating his depth of engineering knowledge and commitment to outstanding outcomes for customers and partners," said Schutte.

Schutte added: "We're delighted to welcome him to the Victoria/Tasmania region and wish him the best as he begins his Gallagher career," said Schutte.

The company said the appointments form part of its broader approach to account coverage and portfolio management across Australia, with a focus on key accounts and high security work.
