FTS Group changes name to Atturra in effort to unite IT brands
Fri, 3rd Sep 2021
FYI, this story is more than a year old

The IT services and consulting company formerly known as FTS Group now has a new name and a new brand - Atturra.

The rebrand to Atturra brings together eight companies under FTS Group, including ANATAS, Cubic Consulting, ESAM Consulting, Galaxy42, KoBold, Mentum Systems, Noetic, and Veritec.

Atturra, which will remain based in Sydney, says the rebrand reflects the growing number of partnerships and collaboration within the group of companies.

Atturra provides advisory and consulting, business applications, cloud services, data and integration, management control solutions and change management and adoption.

The company has served more than 600 local clients across sectors including federal, state and local government, defence, education, wealth and financial services, and utilities. It also works with partners including Boomi, Microsoft, Smartsheet, and Software AG.

CEO Stephen Kowal says FTS Group had outgrown its old business structure and its expertise was not reflected in its branding, hence the need for a rebrand.

“The rebrand and unification to Atturra reflects the emphasis on accessing enterprise scale, technologies, and specialisations the group offers,” Kowal explains.

“While all the units have been working closely together for some years now, as one unified brand Atturra is now in a stronger position to compete and lead in the IT services landscape.

The company states that since 2019 the company's revenue has helped to achieve a 23% compound annual growth rate. The acquisitions of ESAM Consulting, Mentum Systems, and Noetic over the last 12 months have helped to drive this growth.

Kowal adds, “We've been building a powerful local technology services company, and this new brand is an important step forward in that journey. Atturra's vision is to continue to design, build and support the nation's technology needs, while building exciting career paths for its people.

He believes the brand and growth will position the company as a strong local advisory and technology specialist.

“The Atturra brand may be new, but Australian governments and businesses have relied on the team for years. Atturra has over 500 staff members, including more than 200 security-cleared consultants. We're proud of what we have achieved so far and equally confident of the new chapter in our story.

He concludes, “Atturra brings together the intelligence, strong partnerships, and experiences that the business has already successfully delivered for hundreds of clients across dozens of industries throughout Australia.

In addition to its Sydney headquarters, the company has offices in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, and Perth.
