Tue, 15th Dec 2015
FYI, this story is more than a year old

The Missing Link, the IT service provider based in NSW, Australia, has reached Gold partnership status with FireEye, the global vendor specialising in advanced cyber security.

As part of the new status, The Missing Link will be responsible for marketing, selling, delivering and servicing end-to-end solutions built around the core FireEye platform.

“The rapid rise in targeted cyber-attacks has startled Australian firms,” says Phil Vasic, FireEye regional director for Australia and New Zealand.

He says, “35% of the organisations we observed in the first half of this year were exposed to these attacks.

“The Missing Link plays an important role in helping Australian firms defend themselves against targeted attacks, and they have done outstanding work in this area.

The Missing Link has been a value added reseller of FireEye since the inception of its security division in 2013.

In August this year The Missing Link took home two awards at FireEye's first Australian and New Zealand Momentum Partner Conference.

Security Manager/Director Aaron Bailey won the Sales Excellence Award, and The Missing Link Security was awarded the Emerging Partner of the Year Award.

“We are thrilled to be recognised by FireEye with Gold Partner status,” says Aaron Bailey, The Missing Link security manager and director.

“FireEye's advanced threat solution allows us to deliver leading edge technologies to our customers.

“FireEye's products have a proven track record and are an intelligent addition to any organisation's security profile,” Bailey says.
