Dynatrace honoured as Customers' Choice in Gartner's 2023 APM report

Dynatrace has been named a Customers' Choice in the 2023 Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer for Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Observability report, marking the fifth consecutive year that the company has received this honour.

Dynatrace is a unified platform that combines broad and deep observability and continuous runtime application security with the most advanced AIOps. It is designed to provide answers and intelligent automation from data at an enormous scale. This enables innovators to modernise and automate cloud operations, deliver software faster and more securely, and ensure flawless digital experiences. 

Beyond its overall Customers' Choice acknowledgement, Dynatrace was also identified as a favoured option across multiple segment quadrants, including Global Enterprise, Large Enterprise, and the Finance Industry. The company also secured recognition in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America regions.

The Gartner Peer Insights generates these selections via a methodology that aggregates and analyses reviews. They aim to give IT decision-makers an overall perspective. Businesses praised for their work using the Customers' Choice designation are those ranked most highly by their own clientele.

Notably, Dynatrace also received recognition as a leader in the 2023 Gartner Magic Quadrant for APM and Observability reports. According to the document, the company stands out for its completeness of vision and high ability to execute.

Furthermore, in the Gartner Critical Capabilities for APM and Observability report, Dynatrace achieved the best ranking out of 19 vendors across all six use cases, namely, Security Operations, IT Operations, Digital Experience Monitoring, DevOps/AppDev, SRE/Platform Operations, and Application Owner/Line of Business.

The 2023 reviews of Dynatrace's platform resulted in a 4.5 out of 5.0 star rating, with 94% of users recommending the platform as of October 2023. The platform has been described by customers in varying ways. Some highlights are as a "game-changer for our business", "incredibly positive for our organisation", and a platform that "excels in its monitoring capabilities". The customer reviews revealed that the product impacts different areas of their businesses positively, from the user interface, automation, and analytics features to its integration capabilities.

Steve Tack, the Senior Vice President of Product Management at Dynatrace, highlights the company's unwavering commitment to the success of its customers. He expresses satisfaction at receiving positive feedback and being recognised as a Gartner Customers' Choice. Tack sees this acknowledgement as validation that Dynatrace is effectively contributing to customers' digital transformation goals.
