FYI, this story is more than a year old

Dove Electronics has inked a deal to distribute small form factor computer vendor Shuttle Inc's offerings in New Zealand.

The deal will see the Christchurch head-quartered distributor providing the full range of Shuttle desktop PCs and distributing build-to-order systems to resellers with its diversified services, particularly in system integration for vertical markets.

Tom Nelson, Dove Electronics Shuttle business manager, says the vendor has ‘a very good reputation for innovation and quality'.

He says the new offerings will enable Dove Electronics to provide a more complete range of options to its customers, particularly those in specialist markets such as POS, automation and digital signage.

Shuttle says its looking to provide customers with faster, more direct and complete services in local markets, with the Dove distribution deal enabling the two companies to combine their strengths to expand the vendor's distribution network.

The Taiwanese vendor began in 1983 as a manufacturer of motherboards but is now best known for its small-form factor computers with a range of consumer and commercial products, including the Cube mini-tower, Slim 1.3L and 3L models, Nano and all-in-one PCs.

The company also offers digital signage media players, notebook computers and tablets.
