Discovery Consulting appoints Su Soe to lead SAP S/4HANA practice
Discovery Consulting has appointed Su Soe as its new SAP S/4HANA Solution Advisory Lead to support its national ERP operations.
Su Soe transitions to Discovery Consulting after ten years at SAP, where she took on a range of roles centred on solution advisory, consulting, and customer success. Her experience covers a variety of industries, including the public sector, manufacturing, logistics, and retail, which enabled her to support digital transformation projects for numerous organisations.
Her primary expertise is with SAP S/4HANA, SAP's enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite, with a specialised focus on the Public Cloud edition. Among the notable projects she has contributed to is the S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation at Taronga Zoo, a complex public sector deployment that required a blend of technical knowledge and an understanding of sector-specific business processes.
In her new role at Discovery Consulting, Su Soe will be responsible for leading the company's national SAP S/4HANA solution advisory practice. Her appointment is part of Discovery's efforts to expand its SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud capabilities, reflecting the consultancy's strategic focus on scalable cloud ERP solutions for the public sector and mid-market organisations.
According to Discovery Consulting's Chief Executive Officer Rod Gallagher, Su Soe's SAP background will be an asset to both clients and the company. Gallagher commented:

Su Soe's responsibilities at Discovery will encompass guiding clients through the full lifecycle of S/4HANA deployments, including evaluation, adoption, solution design, implementation, and post-go-live activities. She is expected to work closely with organisations throughout their cloud ERP journeys, supporting outcomes beyond the initial deployment phase.

Su Soe's career started through the SAP Academy graduate programme, where she gained foundational experience before advancing into leadership positions within advisory and customer success. Her experience includes working with public institutions, manufacturing firms, and logistics organisations, providing her with insights into both enterprise and mid-market operations.
Through her move to Discovery Consulting, Su seeks to expand her consulting expertise by working within a more specialised environment, focusing on developing deep industry-specific knowledge and continuing to assist organisations with their digital transformation objectives.
Outside of her professional career, Su Soe enjoys teaching Pilates, a pursuit she credits with contributing to her sense of balance and energy in her work.
