Digimune & MY CYBER GUARD launch Aussie ID shield

Mon, 8th Dec 2025

Digimune Australia has entered a partnership with MY CYBER GUARD that will see a new identity protection service launched for Australian consumers and small businesses.

The agreement gives MY CYBER GUARD access to Digimune’s global digital-risk platform. The platform includes monitoring of the deep and dark web, identity theft alerts, and support for financial loss recovery and legal remediation.

MY CYBER GUARD will offer the services under its own brand in Australia. The products will target individuals, families and small and medium-sized enterprises.

Rising local risk

The launch comes as Australian organisations and households report a rising number of data breaches and identity fraud incidents. Cybercriminals are using more advanced tools and techniques against both consumers and smaller firms.

MY CYBER GUARD will use Digimune’s systems to scan for exposed personal data. The service will cover items such as email addresses, identity numbers, payment data and other personally identifiable information.

Customers will receive alerts when the systems detect leaked or traded data. They will also gain access to structured processes for remediation, takedown and case resolution.

Anthony Cooper, Founder of MY CYBER GUARD, said: “Small businesses and individuals need products to help them manage modern risks, and they deserve the same level of cyber protection that's traditionally been reserved for larger enterprises. By partnering with Digimune, we can deliver access to advanced identity protection in a way that's affordable, proactive and designed for Australians.”

Service features

The offering will bundle identity monitoring, alerts and incident support into a set of packages for households and small firms. The platform will draw on Digimune’s existing products and its global operating model.

Subscribers will have access to a cyber warranty and loss recovery service through Digimune’s DigiCare solution. This service provides financial reimbursement for specific incidents involving hacker-inflicted device damage or cyber extortion.

The bundle also includes access to legal advice. Customers will gain support for formal remediation processes when identity theft or account takeover occurs.

The partnership includes an API layer for integration with financial and business platforms. MY CYBER GUARD will use these APIs to create customised and branded experiences for banks, resellers and other partners.

Asia-Pacific push

The agreement forms part of Digimune’s expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. The company already works with financial institutions and technology partners in Latin America, Africa and other markets.

Digimune has integrated its services with ViaCarte, an international card-processing and payments platform. ViaCarte has embedded Digimune’s tools into its banking systems under the brand “Identicate”.

Financial institutions that use ViaCarte can offer digital-risk protection to their customers. They can package identity monitoring, alerts and cyber warranty products into retail banking and card services.

Simon Campbell-Young, Co-founder and VP Global Sales at Digimune Group, said: “This partnership marks a critical step forward for us in the Australian market. Australians, like consumers globally, are increasingly exposed to identity theft, data leaks and online fraud. By combining our cyber intelligence platform with MY CYBER GUARD's local presence, we're making sophisticated protection accessible and actionable.”

Digimune also works with global insurance underwriters. These underwriters provide cyber-warranty products that reimburse customers for financial loss stemming from identity theft, account takeovers or ransomware attacks.

The company has partnerships with technology service integrators such as AnyTech365. These integrators offer support and cyber resilience services in multiple markets using Digimune’s tools.

Consumer and SME focus

The Australian launch will centre on households and small businesses rather than large enterprises. The partners intend to position identity protection as a mainstream consumer and SME product.

Customers will be able to sign up directly through MY CYBER GUARD. The company also plans to work with resellers and other channels that serve small firms and families.

Digimune’s platform combines monitoring of the deep and dark web with AI-driven threat detection. It also includes legal remediation services and cyber insurance or warranty elements.

Campbell-Young said the company expects further local alliances. “We've already achieved strong traction in other regions through partnerships with financial providers such as ViaCarte, giving banks embedded access to our monitoring, alerting and cyber-warranty capabilities. We'll continue exploring opportunities to partner with tech resellers and other organisations to expand our local presence and ensure high-quality products reach as many Australian businesses as possible.”
