Dell Boomi partners with Maveriq to plug enterprise integration gap
Mon, 29th May 2017
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Dell Boomi has partnered with global cloud integration specialist Maveriq Technology in a deal designed to help simplify integration for enterprises as hybrid deployments increase.

Maveriq, which has multiple ‘centres of excellence' across Asia Pacific, will integrate the Boomi AtomSphere integration platform-as-a-service (iPaaS) into its data integration, migration, workflow automation, MDM, EDI and API management services portfolio.

“This provides organisations with a powerful integration strategy without the complex software agreements and convoluted implementation methodologies associated with legacy on-premises deployments,” Dell Boomi says.

Michael Evans, Dell Boomi Asia Pacific and Japan managing director, says the combination of Maveriq's expertise in data integration and migration with Boomi's iPaaS solution will provide joint customers with a comprehensive means of centralising critical systems and apps in a package ‘that feels quick and easy'.

Maveriq will work directly with customers, as well as through system integrator partners.

Vipin Verma, Maveriq president, says globally many organisations are facing a major integration gap that legacy on-premises solutions can't serve well.

“With the increased adoption of Hybrid IT – especially in the enterprise space – we saw a significant opportunity to partner with Boomi to provide iPaaS that can effectively consolidate data from best-of-breed applications in a true cloud environment,” Verma says.

Dell Boomi has been ramping up its Australian and New Zealand business recently, with its Asia Pacific focus starting in ANZ. In January the vendor appointed David Tavolaro as vice president of business development, charged with growing the company's global partner channel, and said it had seen a 50% growth in its partner channel in the past year.

It says it is experiencing significant demand from local companies looking for cloud integration to connect best-of-breed, business critical applications.

In April the company partnered with Australian field service software provider CRM Online to automate field services data integration for Australian enterprise and mid-market field companies.
