FYI, this story is more than a year old

Secure infrastructure company and international data center specialist Cyxtera Technologies has launched its global channel partner program, called the Cyxtera Partner Network.

According to Cyxtera, the program enables partners to package their own offerings with leading data center services across a global footprint of 57 facilities, and secure their customer's applications and infrastructure with a suite of adaptive, intelligent cybersecurity solutions.

The program will launch with a few key day-one partners;

  • Avant, a distributing company specialising in channel sales enablement.

  • Westven, a technology solutions provider and agency.

  • SageNet, who focuses on the design, implementation, management and protection of secure and reliable networks.

Cyxtera says key elements of the new network include a worldwide data center footprint, portfolio of leading-edge security solutions, a three-tier program structure for scalability and support as well as Co-marketing opportunities and sales enablement programs.

Tina Gravel, Cyxtera senior vice president of global channels says, “We are excited to welcome Avant, Westven and SageNet as launch members of the Cyxtera Partner Network.

“These companies bring a considerable set of capabilities to amplify the value of our data centers and cybersecurity solutions."

Cyxtera says it brings together a complete suite of authentication, access control and analytics capabilities with a world-class data center footprint, which provides enterprises, service providers and public-sector organizations a modern, secure infrastructure platform.

It says its hybrid-native cybersecurity offerings provide channel partners with revenue opportunities that span customer premises, third-party data centers and public clouds, with a data center footprint that provides global reach and capability.

Barry Field, Cyxtera chief revenue officer says “Our portfolio was built for today's enterprise IT and built for the channel, and the launch of our partner program is a significant milestone in our go-to-market strategy.

“We're building a best-in-class program and partner community to better serve our customers and reach new markets.

Cyxtera currently partners with NEXTDC in Australia to offer data center services in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Perth.

It says the partnership with NEXTDC allows them to offer customers with access to over 18,710 square meters of adaptable space and over 67.5 MW of power capacity across the five Australian locations.
