FYI, this story is more than a year old

inTechnology Distribution off-shoot Cloud Distribution has signed a distribution partnership with cloud based surveillance provider, Eagle Eye Networks.

Cloud Distribution says the deal will deliver ‘a simple, reliable, affordable and accessible surveillance system across Australia and New Zealand.

The company was founded by Barracuda Networks founder and former chief executive Dean Drako in 2012.

Eagle Eye Cloud Security Camera VMS is a cloud managed video surveillance system that links analog and IP cameras with an on-site bridge or cloud managed video recorder appliance which transmit the encrypted video to Eagle Eye's cloud data center

Jason Burn, Cloud Distribution director of sales and operations, says Eagle Eye Networks makes video security ‘a lot easier'.

“They have brought the latest cloud and web technologies to solve the complexities of video security,” Burn says.

“Eagle Eye's Platform features, functions and capabilities are made available by default without the headaches of traditional server approaches, which is exactly what our channel partners and their clients have been looking for,” he adds.

Burn says the system is unique in supporting mobile apps for system installation, remote video viewing, system management, with alerts for motion detection, system tampering and camera malfunction.

“The team at Eagle Eye have thought of everything, including bandwidth management that supports user adjustment of how much video is stored in the cloud or on-premise.

Drako says Cloud Distribution was selected as the ANZ distributor due to its expertise with security solutions and reputation for strong support services.

He says Eagle Eye Networks is committed to helping the channel meet customer needs by delivering the cloud-based Eagle Eye VMS through its channel partner program.

“The Eagle Eye Networks Channel Partner Program and Cloud Distribution will work hand in hand to help partners maximise sales, customer satisfaction and build recurring revenue for all,” Drako says.
