Claroty & Axonius unite for stronger enterprise cyber resilience
Wed, 27th Mar 2024

Claroty, a specialist in cyber-physical systems (CPS) protection, and Axonius, an industry leader in cybersecurity asset management and Software as a Service (SaaS) management, have announced their strategic partnership aimed at fortifying enterprise attack surface management. The partnership is set to benefit assets across an organisation's networks, combining Claroty's extensive knowledge of CPS environments and Axonius' 1,000+ integrations reaching out to the cloud.

The integration of the two companies' distinct technological competencies is expected to result in a comprehensive view and profile of all assets across different environments. This synthesis of resources promises a toolset enabling organisations to minimise risk while maintaining cyber resilience under adverse cyber conditions, ultimately thriving despite such challenges.

Stephan Goldberg, Vice President of Business Development at Claroty, commented on the alliance, noting that the combination of Claroty's vertical expertise of CPS environments and their business applications and technology traits with Axonius' capacity "to provide business-level context to all assets from cloud to on-prem" presents a holistic view of all connected assets and vulnerabilities. It also contributes to a dynamic capture of the attack surface and its exposures, setting a unique precedent in the market.

Announcing the partnership, Goldberg further emphasised that "understanding exactly what encompasses your hyperconverged connected estate is more challenging and critically essential than ever before." This view includes on-premise devices to cloud services within the broader landscape of cyber-attacks, particularly significant in an era of next-gen 5G mobile technology and remote working.

Highlighting the benefits of the synergistic partnership further, Mark Daggett, Vice President of Worldwide Channel Alliances at Axonius, stated that they were thrilled to collaborate with Claroty to offer organisations a "unified system of record for securing their digital infrastructure." This collaboration delivers a comprehensive asset inventory that activates core controls, ultimately assisting organisations in achieving a significant objective of their security strategy—risk reduction.

The integration also equips organisations to mitigate threats from various sources—ranging from ransomware and supply chain attacks to insider threats—by achieving cyber resilience. Consequently, organisations can leverage the undeniable benefits provided by the Extended Internet of Things (XIoT) confidently, securely, and with reduced risk while embracing digital transformation.
