Brisbane Grammar unveils new Atturra campus software

Today

Atturra has successfully launched the initial four modules of the Scholarion Student Information System at Brisbane Grammar School.

The four modules introduced by Atturra include People and Profiles, Student Location and Activity Tracking, Communications Management, and Resource Management.

These developments are part of ongoing efforts to update and enhance the school's student information management capabilities.

The Scholarion system, based on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, replaced an older and more fragmented system comprising 42 custom applications. The new platform aims to integrate various school operations into a unified, cloud-hosted solution powered by artificial intelligence.

The People and Profiles module creates a foundational database supporting registrations, legal arrangements, and health and attendance management while also facilitating enrolment and staffing functions.

Student Location and Activity Tracking offers tools for managing academic schedules, attendance, and resources more effectively, including support for EDVAL updates which facilitate teacher availability and room utilization.

Communications Management enhances connectivity between all stakeholders—students, parents, staff, and external parties—via comprehensive communication history and capabilities for targeted messaging.

Resource Management focuses on optimising the use of school facilities and equipment, thereby streamlining activities such as sports events and classroom resource allocations.

Anthony Micallef, Headmaster of Brisbane Grammar School, commended the implementation, stating, "This is a transformative moment for our school."

"The successful launch of these modules is a testament to the vision and dedication of everyone involved. Scholarian will empower our staff and enhance the experiences of our students and their families."

"We are excited to build on this momentum and achieve even greater milestones in the months ahead."

Alexis Hill, the Chief Information Officer at Brisbane Grammar School, noted, "This is a proud moment for BGS. Reaching this rollout stage has been a collaborative triumph, laying the groundwork for a smarter, more connected school. We're thrilled with what has been achieved so far and look forward to the exciting possibilities as we move to the next phases of this transformative project."

Stephen Kowal, CEO of Atturra, remarked on the project's significance, saying, "The partnership between Atturra and Brisbane Grammar School is an excellent example of how innovation can modernise education."

"Seeing Scholarian come to life and deliver real value to the school community is incredibly rewarding. We are eager to continue supporting BGS as it implements the remaining modules and reaps the full benefits of this cutting-edge solution."

Brett Auton, Atturra's Industry Lead for K-12 Education, expressed enthusiasm about the progress, stating, "The successful go-live of these modules is a testament to the strong partnership between Atturra and BGS. Each milestone reached brings us closer to delivering a world-class, fully integrated solution. We're eager to continue building on this momentum as we implement the remaining modules throughout 2025."

By 2025, Scholarion's full deployment will include 12 modules addressing all facets of school operations, providing a unified user experience and centralised data source for the entire school community.

Other educational institutions can also access Scholarion on a subscription basis, enabling them to leverage sophisticated, AI-driven technology without the need for costly custom solutions.
