The severity and frequency of ransomware attacks are at an alarming high, with every industry and organisation a potential mark. BlackFog’s 2023 Annual Ransomware report revealed a 68% increase in publicised ransomware attacks in comparison to the previous year, and the UK was identified as one of the top targeted countries globally. BlackFog has provided a reliable source of global ransomware data since 2020, tracking and reporting on fresh threat intelligence, including information on prominent ransomware variants, threat groups, and targeted sectors and locations.
