Tue, 5th Dec 2023

BenQ has launched its Google Enterprise Devices Licensing Agreement (EDLA) certified smart boards — the BenQ Board Pro RP04 and the BenQ Board Master RM04 — a new generation aimed at creating dynamic, effective, healthy, and secure education environments.

The new smart boards are unique in their capacity to integrate fully with the entire Google Mobile Services (GMS) ecosystem. They also come equipped with a wide range of health-centric ClassroomCare features, thereby focusing on fostering healthy learning environments, setting them apart as the only smart boards for education with such comprehensive features.

Mr Jeffrey Liang, President of BenQ Asia Pacific, emphasises the company’s “ironclad commitment to foster the most caring and futureproof education through BenQ’s cutting-edge interactive display solutions.” He attributes this commitment as the foundation of BenQ’s leadership in tough markets such as Australia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and India, among others. With the launch of the EDLA-certified smart boards, BenQ reaffirms its commitment while integrating Google Mobile Services to empower educators and their students. Mr Liang added that these new smart boards would “bolster teamwork and effective interaction in both physical and remote learning venues,” enabling the education industry to move forward in its pursuit of excellence.

According to market specialists, Futuresource Consulting, BenQ held the top market position in Interactive Flat Panel Displays (IFPD) in numerous countries, including the UAE, during the first half of 2023 and achieved a 35.68% market share in the Higher Education market in the second quarter of the same year. They also dominated market share in Saudi Arabia and Australia in the second quarter of 2023, holding 40.06% and 16.72% respectively.

The new BenQ Boards provide schools with easy access to official Google services such as Google Play, Google Classroom, Google Search, and other Android applications, enhancing the learning experience with a large touchscreen interface. Innovative features such as the EZWrite 6 digital whiteboarding software and InstaShare 2, which share up to nine screens for collaborative discussions, are set to impact and elevate the learning process.

BenQ’s innovative ClassroomCare technologies, Account Management System (AMS), and Device Management System (DMS) are designed to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment. ClassroomCare features Eyesafe Certified 2.0 screens, protecting users from harmful blue light, indoor air quality sensors, and antimicrobial screens and peripherals. The Account and Device Management Systems allow for effortless classroom setup and efficient IT maintenance, thus effectively reducing costs for schools.

BenQ's continuous commitment to innovation in education technology is set to greatly impact the academic sector worldwide, enabling the younger generation to harness the potential of their 21st-century skills for the future. By embracing this digital era, BenQ looks forward to a future where learning is not only engaging and enriching but also transformative.
