AudioCodes' second quarter revenues looking bleak
Wed, 10th Jun 2015
FYI, this story is more than a year old

AudioCodes, the VoIP and unified communications hardware and services provider, has announced its revenues for the second quarter of 2015 are anticipated to be lower than previously estimated.

According to a statement, revenues in the second quarter are expected to be 5-15% lower compared with the revenues in the first quarter of 2015.

The general consensus was that revenue would be up 4% to $39 million.

Revenues for the first quarter of 2015 increased 4.3% year-over-year to $37.5 million.

According to a statement, in the first quarter of 2015, networking product and service revenues increased 7.3% year-over-year to $33.1 million, and service revenues increased 20.2% year-over-year to $8.9 million from $7.4 million.

Shabtai Adlersberg, AudioCodes president and CEO, says AudioCodes is facing weaker market conditions for its legacy business in certain markets and this is why second quarter revenues are expected to be lower.

He says, “We intend to revise our outlook for 2015 at the time of our second quarter 2015 financial results conference call."
