Appian boosts scalability with Autoscale & AI insights
Appian has announced its latest platform release, introducing Appian Autoscale and enhanced AI insights to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
The new features across Appian's platform aim to enhance the way organisations design, automate, and optimise their business processes. Appian Autoscale allows organisations to scale up to six million processes per hour, which is ten times more than its previous benchmark.
Appian Autoscale is designed for high-volume processes such as real-time claims validation, continuous transaction monitoring, and credit risk scoring. The feature enables users to scale new or existing processes and monitor performance, providing insights into millions of process instances. It also includes a detailed process history to help identify and resolve issues quickly, ensuring smooth operations even during periods of high demand.
Bharat Marwaha, Automation Platform Leader at Helia, a leading Lenders Mortgage Insurance provider in Australia, shared their experience with the platform: "We achieved all of our application scale and performance goals with Appian Autoscale." Helia uses the Appian platform to automate processes, reducing claims management processing time from two days to under ten minutes and improving the lender experience.
In addition to Autoscale, the release includes several enhancements powered by AI. These include multiple AI features achieving FedRAMP Moderate compliance, making them suitable for public sector use by meeting stringent security, privacy, and operational requirements.
The platform's document extraction AI now automatically detects and consolidates multi-page tables, streamlining the data extraction process. Future table extractions will be automatic after the initial reconciliation step, improving efficiency by eliminating manual workarounds.
AI Copilot, now fully released, promises up to 40% faster response times and supports up to 250 record types. It enables precise filtering and immediate sync recovery for automatic data updates after failed syncs.
Process insights AI has also been enhanced with AI Copilot, enabling faster creation of business-specific KPIs and insight summaries. This feature detects ad hoc events and suggests improvements, fostering collaboration and improving operational efficiency.
