Integrated Products has signed on as an distributor for Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise in Australia, as the vendor expands its local channel.

The deal sees Integrated Products handling ALE's entire range of hardware and software products and services to existing and new partners.

Stuart Fowler, Integrated Products managing director, says the distributor sees a number of opportunities with ALE.

“The IP CCTV security market is now very closely aligned to the business communications market and the award winning Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise communications and network solutions,” Fowler says.

“We have also identified significant synergies within the vertical markets that both companies successfully address,” he adds.

Integrated Products background lies in IP security solutions as a distributor for IndigoVision. The company assisted in the CCTV portion of a mobile CCTV trailer solution for Norther Territory Police last year.

“The partnership between Integrated Products and a globa vendor, such as ALE who has a complete and well respected converged voice and data portfolio, offers mutually beneficial opportunities and is aligned with the core principles of Integrated Products service focus,” Fowler says.

Chris Downes, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise channel sales director, says the distribution deal enables ALE to reach new verticals and customers.
