Access4 names Virtual IT Group as its Diamond++ Partner in Australia
Mon, 4th Dec 2023

Unified Communication-as-a-Service (UCaaS) provider, Access4, has officially named Virtual IT Group (VITG) as its Diamond++ Partner. This prestigious appointment comes after VITG's recent purchase of two former Access4 partners, Ittelligent and Powernet, coupled with VITG's concentrated efforts aimed at provisioning UCaaS for businesses in Australia.

Since its inception in Shellharbour, New South Wales, in 2015, VITG has solidified its position as one of Australia's topmost ICT managed service providers. With 14 other consultancies and service providers under its belt, VITG boasts a solid growth both organically and through acquisitions. The firm employs 250 professionals and posts a yearly turnover exceeding AU$80 million. VITG remarkably extends its services to a client base of 1,400 spread across Australia, New Zealand, the U.S., and Singapore. Its primary focus is on industries such as legal, financial, medical, and not-for-profit sectors.

Chris Troncone, Chief Customer Officer at VITG, stated, "In recent months, we have consolidated our vendor partners as a key business strategy moving into 2024. We provided cloud telephony solutions from 8x8, RingCentral and Microsoft Teams via two telecommunications providers earlier. But with the acquisition of Ittelligent in 2021 and Powernet subsequently, both from Access4, we have secured a great opportunity to consolidate our key offerings in the voice, cloud telephony and UCaaS fields."

Troncone further expressed his belief in Access4 by explaining, "Access4 is our go-to-market offering for UCaaS which we have recently productised. It is not only easy to sell and deploy, but Access4 also has a dedicated porting department which simplifies the process of porting customer numbers, managing all intricate details, including fast porting options."

Several businesses have yet to migrate to the cloud from on-premise PABXs. Nevertheless, forecasts from Fortune Business Insights predict the global UCaaS market could potentially swell from US$32.01 billion in 2023 to US$85.77 billion by 2030 at a CAGR of 15.1%.

The proprietary OSS/BSS platform SASBOSS offered by Access4 is revolutionising the management of voice and collaboration services. It makes quoting and swift provisioning of cloud-based voice solutions extremely simple. This way, MSPs can focus on improving their customer experiences. The platform also helps in service process optimisation, cost-cutting, and billing simplification. Utilising SASBOSS optimises pre-sales team's efficiency by negating the need for supplementary technical resources. The option to use Access4's wide expertise in delivering unequaled Unified Communications support rounds off its benefits.

Peter Eldon, Director of Sales and Marketing at Access4, expressed his positive outlook towards this collaboration. He stated, "VITG is a significant player in the MSP space boasting a true national sales team. They rank among the country's largest and most respected managed services providers and command a considerable base of established customer relationships." He added that Access4 is eager to work with VITG to achieve higher value for their current customers and support new revenue generation through greenfield opportunities.

Being an Access4 Diamond++ Partner comes with a suite of privileges. These include the highest level of support and incentives, VIP access to sales support, marketing support, and premium technical assistance. It also ensures complimentary access to annual events such as the Access4 Annual Partner Conference.
