RingCentral Australia signs with Mia Distribution
Mia Distribution, a specialist Australian unified communications value-added distributor, has formed a new distribution partnership with RingCentral Australia, a provider of global enterprise cloud communications, collaboration, and contact centre solutions.
Mia Distribution will distribute to Australian customers hardware products that support RingCentral’s cloud communications solutions.
“This partnership is an important milestone for us as we continue to scale in Australia and look to extend our presence across the region,” says RingCentral Asia Pacific regional sales vice president Peter Hughes.
“Mia Distribution has the specialised capabilities and responsiveness we are looking for in terms of third party logistics and professional services to quickly and efficiently configure and provision the hardware our customers need to support their RingCentral unified communications as a service (UCaaS) environments.”
This agreement gives RingCentral Australian customers local fulfilment across Australia and their international offices for any phone handsets and video hardware included in their RingCentral contracts.
RingCentral currently provides customers with a range of compatible desk, cordless, receptionist and conference phones from Poly, Yealink and Cisco.
With Mia Distribution it has automated the ordering, provisioning, and fulfilment processes that ensure all handsets included as part of a RingCentral contract are configured, repackaged and shipped to the customer, ready to plug-and-play onsite.
Customers are also able to order additional UC hardware from Mia Distribution through the RingCentral portal.
“There are significant benefits from local hardware distribution,” says Mia Distribution managing director Brad Milne.
“With local stocking and logistics there is a much shorter lead time for orders, there’s local support from us and also from the vendors, and we already have established relationships with most of RingCentral’s partner community. There is also the surety that all the hardware we ship is configured, ready to use, and completely compatible for Australia and in the other regions we currently supply.”
RingCentral provides unified voice, video meetings, team messaging, digital customer engagement, and integrated contact centre solutions for enterprises globally.
Its open platform integrates with leading business apps and enables customers to easily customise business workflows.
