HPE shows channel commitment with partner programme expansion
Wed, 19th Jun 2019
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Two years ago HPE announced the ‘Pro' series programme. The aim of which is to deliver channel partners the solutions, skills and programs to further develop their teams, transform customer experiences and drive business growth together.

The programme initially started with Marketing Pro, which was aimed at marketing professionals within channel partners. This was followed three months ago with the announcement at HPE's Tech Solutions Summit (TSS) in Paris of a Tech Pro.

Tech Pro enabled technical architects and HPE presales professionals to work as one team, offering ongoing support, and exclusive access to insider training, tools, resources and expertise.

“With HPE Tech Pro Community, HPE is extending its commitment to the channel and its own solutions architects by elevating their expertise in a way that not only helps our members drive business outcome-led solutions, but also promotes learning, networking and career growth across the industry,” said Paul Hunter, Global Channel Chief for Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Yesterday a new Sales Pro community was added to the programme. As well as enhancements to the HPE Tech Pro Community and HPE Marketing Pro Academy.

The new HPE Sales Pro Community offers an interactive and collaborative space for HPE and partner sales to communicate, and successfully cascade prioritised news and product updates direct to sales professionals. Partners will also have seamless access to experts to support deals and secure business.

The HPE Tech Pro Community programme introduced new Hybrid IT architecture accreditations, as well as introduced new engagement badges and rewards.

The Marketing Pro academy was greatly expanded with new digital marketing accreditations. HPE Social Media Center is also being enhanced to make it even easier for partners to access and share impactful content across their social channels.

Following the launch in June 2018, more than 750 HPE channel partners have completed the HPE Digital Marketing Maturity Assessment and had the opportunity to assess - at zero cost and in a quantitative way - their digital marketing capabilities. Today, HPE is announcing further enhancements, including more personalisation of the recommendations provided in the assessment reports.

“Every professional within our channel partner community plays an integral role in selling the right solution to a customer. HPE is demonstrating a new level of commitment and investment in our partners by extending access to the right tools and resources via the ‘Pro' series which will improve the ease of doing business with us and drive their continued growth and success,” said Paul Hunter, Global Channel Chief for Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

“Partner organisations get recognised a lot at HPE, the important part of Pro series is about recognising the individuals who drive success for our shared customers,” said Jesse Chavez, Vice President, WW Channel Sales and Alliances, Enterprise Group for Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
